But until then look what I've found. A little teaser video with excerpts taken from the tv programme showing off the hottie that is Julian Clary, the goddess that is Valerie and the little 'womanizer' that is Albie who must have taken some tips from Julian's autobiography ... but I shan't say more ... have a glimpse here & I promise you'll be laughing your head off - which might be a bit of an unfortunate expression on this occasion *lol*.

Woop woop woop - and I mean that literally :D

It seems like our lovely Julian will be a guest on Sky's new documentary programme 'A Different Breed'. As you might guess by the title this programme is about some of the furry ones, otherwise known as dogs. As it is hosted by Julian's long-time chum JoAnne Good I'm sure we can expect a hilarious julianishous treat on our small screens.

This will be aired on Sky and I didn't quite get the hang of all the different viewing times which are on offer nor did I quite understand the availability of those different Sky Channels but I am sure you lot will be 'in the know'.

So get your pens out & mark your diaries accordingly:
Click [digiguide.tv] for all the details including a summary of episode no. 3 which is the one in question.

Me personally I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Julian's adorable dogs i.e. the grand dame called Valerie & that little rascal that is Albie will be making a guest appearance too. >:D<(:P)

Lovely julianishous find when I browsed the net for a bit last night - oh the benefits of finally owning a funky fancy netbook and being able to so whilst being cuddled up in the cushions of my cosy bed. Yeeeha. But I digress ...

I found a feature with extracts from a very special book. Apparently the author, a guy called Joseph Galliano (NOT to be confused with John Galliano!) - has asked a variety of famous people to compose a letter to their very own sixteen-year-old selves. With quite impressive results I must say. (tu)

Nedless to say that I was most gobsmacked by the letter our lovely Julian wrote to himself. Apart from his unique way with words it's yet again brutally honest and as such comes across very personal indeed. Moving and emotional and - it wouldn't be by Julian otherwise - funny in his very special way too.

Have a read here and I can't wait to find out about your opinions. As this is quite a big blog entry you need to scroll down a considerable bit, past other peoples letters, to get to Julian's letter. But as usual - he's worth it :D.

[fashionsmostwanted.blogspot.com]

Also I'm including a link to amazon's website where the aforementioned book is available for purchase. Paul O'Grady is in it too and so is Jackie Collins and more. Stephen Fry too. I'm quite tempted as it seems like an interesting read. The book was published in autumn 2009 so it's still an up-to-date read.

Awwww thanks for posting Sue >:D<

Julian is pure eye-candy but what else would you expect from a man called 'The Gorgeousness' (:P);) His introduction made me laugh-out loud - he's like only saying about 5 sentences and still is funnier than plenty of so-called comedians' shows.

Bugger though that the most annoying message in the world of www. STILL insists to appear when I tried to watch the 'Tony Blackburn' bit - 'This contents is not available in your country' :S:X8-) I'm so fed up!!!!

Especially as the Dev part is working fine - hey these are from one and the same show and one extract is available and the other on is blocked. I'm confused. And ANGRY! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Anyway, enjoy everyone & thanks again for posting.

As you probably know Julian will be 'mentoring' BBC Radio 2's very own Tony Blackburn who has taken up the challenge to present a '5-Minute-Stand-Up-Comedy-Routine' competing against some of his colleagues.

The Live Event will be taking place tomorrow, 22 February, at the Comedy Store in London.

There will also be a 3 part Radio Series about it all and the BBC announces a special mini-website too. (BBC please note: We need eye candy to go with the ear candy! ;))

Read all about it here: [www.bbc.co.uk]
Definitely something to keep our eyes peeled for. (:P)

Just a reminder that Julian will be on Comedy Rocks With Jason Manford, broadcast today, 11 February, at 9.00 pm on ITV 1 >:D<(:D And for those of you who can't get enough of the bonafied Lord of the Mince - there's also a repeat on ITV 2 right after the original airing finishes.

You're totally in for a double treat as in eye-candy and fun. (:P):D

Julian will be doing a bit from the Lord of the Mince tour which is NOT included on the DVD so it's a very very special stand-up routine indeed. One of my favourite bits from the show so I'm best pleased now.

Enjoy!

Hi there,

I've just read your post and I so fully agree. Julian was just marvellous in panto.

Sadly I've got to be the bearer of bad news on the touring subject as Julian's 'Lord of the Mince' Tour has now finished after he's done 4 tours and 144 (!) odd shows.

All we can do for now is keep our fingers crossed for a recap in form of a one off show to come up. And wait for the next tour which is roughly planned for 2012.

But why don't you just get the DVD of the Lord of the Mince tour in the meantime? I dearly recommend - and be prepared for an aching stomach. Belly laugh alert you know. I know nothing can compare to seeing Julian in the flesh but it's the next best thing you can lay your hands on for now.

Regards, Gwyn xxx

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for old TV shows/episodes of Julian's. Anyone kept tapes and/or transfered to DVD? I'd love to see Desperately Seeking Roger and Brace Yourself Sydney again, as well as Sticky Moments/On Tour! I do have Terry & Julian complete on DVD thankfully so can offer copies of this by way of trade... hope someone reading will be able to help! Many thanks!
I had a baby in April and now me and my little girl are avid watchers of "Little Princess" on Five tv and i just want to say you get my day off to a happy start. After my little girl (London) has finished clapping to the funky theme tune i think i enjoy it more than her because of your narration - im always waiting for you to add an something naughty at the end of what your saying...even tho i know you wont :o)
Im thinking the character of "The General" may be based on you? hahhaaa... :o)
Just wanted to write and say Im a fan - thanks for making my days brighter!
