Woop woop lovely surprise on a Monday morning (and nope ... we do NOT have a bank holiday here): Just found out that Julian features in the latest issue of Attitude magazine which is the September issue. (:D

Not sure what's in it exactly as I haven't got the mag in hands yet - so WH Smith Heathrow better be prepared for being invaded the moment I've set foot onto UK grounds tomorrow. :D However, I guess it's some kind of interview as on the front page it reads:

Fay Weldon takes on Julian Clary.

As some you might remember there was word about Julian participating in an episode of the BBC's popular game show 'Would I Lie To You'. If I remember correctly the filming of it took place quite a while ago; was is May or something like that?

Anyway, as I've just found out the new Series of 'Would I Lie To You' which is Series 4 is broadcasting right now. :) Actually, the first of eight episode was already on last Friday and how lucky are we that this was NOT the episode with our lovely Julian. The second episode will be on tomorrow; again a Julian no-show one.

6 further episodes to go - we better keep our eyes peeled on the BBC's website as Julian should be on soon-ish (:D .

Ooooooooh more treats in Julian land for us to look forward to - this will be a truly wonderful autumn. Can I say it was worth waiting for, suffering through what's commonly known as summer? 4 looooooooong Julian less months???

Have a look at this press thingie and get all excited. Julian to be on our (well yours - not mine grmpf) TV screens very soon. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. (:D(:D(:D Should be like in the 'good old times' when there was more of this nonsense on the telly. :D

Julian & The Little Princess … the story continues

Quiet times in Julian Land so I thought I'd do a little update on Julian's activities in the children's field. Oh yes! As we all know (or should know!) Julian is the narrator on the 'Little Princess' TV series shown on Channel Five. Obviously the series are a huge success as the stories goes on and on and on. And good for Julian & us.

Due to its success the Little Princess is available on DVD now. Plenty of DVDs to choose from as in the meantime the complete Series 1 has been released on DVD. In addition the first DVD of Series 2 is out now too and two more are already scheduled to be hitting the shops in summer and autumn.

But there are more exciting news on the way: A new addition to the Little Princess products has been 'silently' launched this year. There are now also audiobooks (on CD) available - with Julian reading stories of 'The Little Princess'. Oooooooh!!!!! Julian is reading a full hour i.e. he is not only the narrator's character, like on TV, but he's doing ALL the people's voices involved. I wasn't sure about this but there's a review about the first one and the person reviewing it tells about their initial surprise when they realised that Julian was doing ALL the reading on the 1 hour long CD - lovely surprise me thinks ha ha ha. (:D (:D (:D

I know this is all aimed at children but I just adore Julian's innocent voice which is in such contrast to his naughty turns on stage. And which again proves how versatile ;):P(no pun intended! :D) Julian is too. And best of all: The products all come at bargain prices so … temptation … can you resist???

I've made up my mind. I think I love to be a child again. Once in a while. Luckily not with the limitations you have if you are a child for REAL i.e. I just treated myself to the CDs and placed an order. Eeeeeshk! Okay, and I'm not ashamed to admit it but I already own all of the Little Princess DVDs - and you know what chicas - watching one or two episodes is great to take off the stress of yet another exhausting working day. Try it … it does wonders for the relaxation. And you might end up smiling too :)>:D<

Enough of nattering about - here come the facts. And, by the way, I cannot understand that this part of Julian's work is completely bypassed on the main website. Children can be fans too. (As seen in Edinburgh at a book reading & signing Julian did at Waterstones where two lovely children walked up to him to get their 'Little Princess' bookes signed by Julian. Awwwwwwwww cute!!! And there was a little boy waiting at the stage door in Northampton too - needless to say he & mum had NOT been to see the show itself; they just came because the boy wanted to meet Julian!)

A new photo of Jacques, Julian's most cutest duckling or maybe even the cutest duckling in Kent. And the luckiest it should be too ... who wouldn't want to have such a gorgeous 'daddy' :D

I am so excited just back from Glastonbury ,my first festival experience & now booked to see you at the Newark Palace theatre. The last time I was in that particular venue I had the same seat & was grooving along with my friend Anne & Marc Bolan & T. Rex. Anne will be joining you on the 30th Nov as a 5o year old as for me I am considerably younger not hitting the big 50 for at least another few months.... So we will be 3 rows back & celebrating her forthcoming event ...looking forward to it lots. xxxx

Just wondering how the Claryettes and everyone else are coping without live Julian gigs until September, it seems an age away...:(

I have been enjoying sharing my paperback copy of 'Devil in Disguise' with the general public!
Took it to Glastonbury to read (lost count of the number of people trying to read over my shoulder while we sat eating and waiting for the next band...it also went to Wimbledon with me and is now on the way to Camden Town for the evening, so Paddington snoopers,
look out and...'Buy your own copy!!'

Hello all,

I have just joined 'Punter's Paradise'. I have been checking it on the DL a bit recently and have been very grateful for all the Julian alerts for TV and Radio so thought is was about time I joined in.

I just wanted to let you know (if you didn't already ) that Julian is supposed to be on Loose Women tomorrow - I caught the end of it today (for my sins!) and they mentioned his name as a guest. I believe it will be on ITV2 though - due to the dreaded World Cup coverage.

Btw, what did you think of Julian on that Peter Andre Show? I just watched it online and thought Julian was lovely, as ever, but felt embarassed for him due to Peter's awful interview technique.

One last thing - any news about a DVD of 'Lord of the Mince'?

B)Sorry guys that this is kind of a last minute announcement - only a couple of minutes to go till showtime so to speak. My web hunt for Julian interviews was successful indeed and I found this.

One of the interviews Julian recorded for the radio in yesterday's media frenzy was done for the BBC Ulster's Alan Simpson Show. The show including interview will be broadcast today, 10 June, from 3.00 pm.

The fantastic news is that it will be all availabe on 'Listen Again' for 7 days ... so worry not if you happen to be stuck at work right now.

Just when you're busy with something else and all of a sudden take things too seriously the universe sends you a comedy moment.

Exactly this has just happened to me. I was very eager and somehow overly serious trying to find Julian's radio interviews on the internet. So I googled around. And the first thing I found was this - and boy did it make me laugh! :D:D:D

Not sure if you've all heard this before but it's Julian's radio ad for a Scottish company called Direct Flooring. Lol lol lol ... this is too good!!!! Hilarious! This is the link to their very own website which popped up on top of my result list ... instead of any radio interview I was hunting for lol.
